Camping is always fun, relaxing and enjoyable, but camping with a group of like-minded friends is even better.

We are a group of friends who get together once a month (every month) and camp. We camp in a variety of tents, trailer tents and caravans.

Being a member of a club exposes you to many venues that you would not have thought of going to and also adds that 'little bit of security'. Membership is limited as to keep the club as intimate as possible. We try to visit as many and varied sites as possible.

Our membership is around 15 active families. As we are a family club we cater for family events during our camping weekends. It’s your choice whether to join in or not. Many members have children and so they enjoy themselves as much as the adults.

Every family is encouraged to host a camp on a rotational basis. Hosting a camp includes making the bookings and arranging some activities for the families as well as preparing the fire for the Saturday night communal braai.

We try not to camp more than 2 hours drive from Cape Town but try and take advantage of long weekends and school holidays and relax this rule and go further afield.

Membership:

We expect you to attend three rallies with us, with your own equipment and to comply with the campers code.

 

After the three rallies the Committee will decide if membership will be granted.  Likewise you will also decide if you fit in and are happy to join.

 

Costs:

 

We charge an extra R40.00 per camp which is added to the camp fees to cover the costs of the wood and any other expenses incurred arranging the camp.

Membership is currently R290.00 per annum with a R50.00 registration fee.
